Hi guys. Rumor has it that the 2014's rear camera is displayed through the dash and not the mirror. Any truth to that? I have a 14 xlt coming soon that does not have the camera because it has the HD payload option. If I wanted to add the oem emblem with the camera would it be hard to do? I was hoping plug it in an get the computer updated? Has anyone done this yet?

yes i have a 14' XLT (no navigation)...and my backup camera displays to the 4.2" screen.

Thanks guys. I should have clarified no navi. Do you think the wire needed to plug the oem camera in will be in the tailgate or would I need I buy a connector as well as the camera? Shoul I check with a dealer first to make sure they can reflash the computer?

Same here. I have 2014 xlt without the nav package and mine also displays in the small 4. 2" screen where the radio is located.
