Glad I could help spend your money!

Im having my 18" FX wheels powder coated in a semi gloss so that was my motivation to get this done, very happy with it.

Be sure to use the eBay seller pillarcovers. Heard great things about their customer service, shipping was super fast and the product arrived in perfect shape.

Will do. I had to work Friday and couldnt pick them up, they are not open on weekends, so they are just sitting there, looking all pretty waiting for my BFG AT's.

One thing is for sure, driving my neighbors 1998 Mazda B2500 pick up truck with the 4 cyl 5 speed has made me appreciate my truck while its on blocks.

Now looks is obviously an opinion but what's your reasoning on an FX4 being far more functional than a Platinum? Just curious.

Geared more towards the off road capabilities and the 3.73 locking rear.

FX4 doesn't really have much more as far as off road capabilities go, especially seeing as yours is a 157" wheelbase. Plus, you can get a 3.73 ELD on every trim AFAIK.

I got the deezee assist in the mail! when installed can I slam the tailgate shut the same or does it give resistance to shut? I'm also going to do the nut and bolt install instead of the nutsert. Is it possible to fabricate the wrench to fit inside tailgate if I don't have the tailgate step style?
