Screwdriver to the side closest to the back of the car and pry up a bit, then push up on the bottom and it should pop out.

Automatic bed/cap light for $9.99+tax.

Has a motion and light sensor so it only goes on when I open the tailgate and only when it's dark enough. Sometimes the most useful mods are the cheapest and easiest ones.

CCar... Looks handy and a good price. Is it hard wired or uses disposable batteries? And do you have a link?

It just uses a couple AA batteries. Given that it's LEDs, they should last a long time. I can't find a link to the actual unit I used, but there are lots of them... here's one at Walmart: http://www.walmart.com/ip/ADX-PIR-15...Light/37337623

It's too cold here. The paint gets blotchy and takes forever to dry. I don't want it to get clumpy and stuff when dealing with mesh - then I'll have to sit there poking holes in it. The paint wasn't cooperating even in 40 degree weather a few months ago when I was doing some door panels. Not worth the aggravation of doing it over, I'll just wait till Spring to do it right.

Don't have the luxury of a heated garage to paint in lol. I know how easy it is, I think you were the one that asked me about painting it in the first place lol

Cool thanks! Plus, if you use lithium batteries instead of NiMh, they're more resilient in cold temps and last far longer.

Hmm, wonder if I could find a 12 volt one to hardwire into the light I already have. The one that came on my cap is almost useless, plus it's quite a stretch for me to hit the switch.

Could you put one of these between the light and power source?
