Yep exactly. Plus it matches my matte black Aeroskin on the hood.

My first reply since joining (have mercy on me if this is in the wrong spot, or I did it wrong....and accept my "it's after midnight and I'm beat" excuse

Anyone ever done anything simple with their tail lights? I am not looking into blacking them completely out. I just want to hide the chrome part all around the light. I plan on building my tails when I get the time off to cut them apart or find spares. I am pretty much looking for ideas lol.

Personally, I replaced mine, but I saw people painting the chrome behind the lens to change the look, and it looked great, I think I saw it somewhere in this thread, but there's far too many pages to remember where.

Use the search.

There's a huge thread on painting the tail light edges. Most are referring to the oem black lights, but I believe a few have actually painted the chrome ones.

Me....I just got some LED tails on eBay cheap.

I'm noticing fog/moisture inside my tai lights. Kind of annoying and concerning. Maybe replacement is best, or warranty at least...?

If you still have bumper to bumper warranty I'd take it in, I've heard of people getting lights replaced for that, but it's not guaranteed

I will be cutting them open in the future I just have a carshow next weekend that I am going to and I have stock tails still lol. My headlights are built. I was actually thinking about getting some aftermarket led ones but I like the look of built tails better.
