Normal, says so in owners manual.

The Iowa Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Office of Motor Vehicle Enforcement (MVE) is reporting an increase in questions related to safe and lawful trailer hitch attachment in Iowa. The majority of questions relate to whether you must remove the trailer hitch from your vehicle when a trailer is not attached. Iowa DOT’s MVE Major Ned Lewis clarified that there is no Iowa law that requires a hitch be removed when a trailer is not in tow.

Added some USB ports in the back of the center console. I wanted to keep the existing outlets in tact. The USB connector was about $13 on Amazon. Took an hour or two taking my time and measuring twice, cut once. I removed the USB cover to get the cover flush with the console. Tapped into the 12v wires and all is good.

Looks good.
You know that it will drain your battery unless the source is switched, right?

Only if something is plugged into it though, right? The 12V port in the back isn't switched, is it?
