This one has been done a bunch of times before, but I just did mine a few weeks ago. I added LED's for bed lighting. We do a lot of camping in the summer, and this is going to be extremely useful. I used a cheap waterproof strip of led's from amazon, cost was $11.00. Wired them into my harness so they come on with the key fob or when a door is open. Shut off automatically after a few minutes. Cost was really cheap, and extremely useful.

I'm thinking about getting these for the underglow department.

Little more expensive but comes with everything I need and can be controlled to work with my interior kit (colors strobe music door open etc). Plus I have enough experience with this company to know they make quality LED strips that are very bright!

I would recommend Opt-7 to anyone. I installed a kit of theirs on my motorcycle and love it!

Rookie question here but how do you isolate the correct wire to tap? How can you tell which is the cargo light wire? It seems like wiring colors are not standardized?

Mine was a purple wire but mine is a 15. I pulled the cargo light out and and looked to see what color the wire was on the other side of the plug then found that wire in the harness and checked it to make sure that was the right one.
