this makes me think of a mod i need to do on the drivers side armrest. i have a tendency to rest my left knee up against the armrest and over time it rubs a spot in the door panel. i was thinking of making something (should be camo or black) to hang right there for protection. anyone else have this issue?

Kelbell, that cover is great. I am in the midst of figuring something out for my truck. I bought fitted aftermarket seatcovers in camo and really the only thing that makes them look "aftermarket" is the console cover due to seat belt and such on my 2012 XLT. The GF's Mom is a pretty good seamstress, I might have to start designing something for mine. Thanks for sharing this.

Stainless steel exhaust tip. Cost? 24$ !
Angle cut and rolled. Something like 15" overall length. Not perfect construction (spent 30 minutes on and off trying to fit the thing and had to sand a few welds that weren't smooth and were causing it to get stuck)... but, hell, it was 24 bucks!!! Best part is, i tried a crappy magnet on it and it didnt stick so i think it really is solid stainless !!
Got it on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/261144055517...84.m1439.l2649

It's not the length of antenna, it's what you put on it!

It looks better in person. Because of the angle i took the pic @ you cant see the angle cut or anything.. but anyways, for 24$ or so, you really can't go wrong.. Just make sure youve got a dremel or file to sand down a bit of the metal. There was a small nub on mine from when the press cut one of the pieces out that was preventing me from getting it on. Had to sand the exhaust down a bit to get all the dirt off it nd then just wiggle it on. Took a bit of force :p

Thanks for the heads up. my trucks a 8 month old street truck so my exhaust is pretty clean I'll probably weld mine on anyway. I work in some sketchy neighborhoods.. that way theyll be more hesitant to take it.. or theyll cut it off and my cat converter
