Ok so here is my brand new ARE X-Series cap. Still cant believe not a single person in this forum has one...

i think you made the right choice between the 2. my last truck had ARE cap with frameless glass, the side windows leaked a little a first and got worse as time went on. the swing out window gasket shrunk and never figured out how to replace. crank on the drivers side stripped out. my others caps had sliding framed windows and no problems. i really like the looks of your cap, can not decide if i want to put a cap on my truck.

ARE X-Series

Here's mine...just had it installed and added the roof rack. I've had two ARE's and have nothing but good luck with all of them. I love the new X-Series and think it is a good look on the F150.
