New member here. Been lurking around here for ideas until I got my truck ... just got it so it's time to get busy. Plan on doing a LOT of work to it.
2013 Sterling Gray FX4 / 5 1/2' Bed.
I'm probably going with Icon Stage 4 0-3" Coilover Leveling Lift (remote front reservoirs, piggyback rears) cranked up to the full 3".
Going to replace the stock front bumper with an ADD Venom bumper so tire clearance shouldn't be an issue up front. I want the largest possible tire with minimal lift. I remember seeing it posted in here somewhere with that same bumper and Toyo 35X12.5R18LT tires causing minimal rear rubbing which was easily fixed.
I plan on getting 35X12.5R17LT General Grabbers. The guys I've seen using larger tires with a 3" kit all seem to be using wheels with around a +18 offset. I'd like to use Method wheels which are zero offset which I believe positions them outward from the truck about an additional 3/4". I'm not sure but I'm getting the impression the further outward you go (less offset) the more you rub. Is that correct? Would that zero offset wheel cause too much of a rubbing issue? I can find another wheel, I'm just partial to the Methods. Appreciate any input.
Option 2 would be finding a complete takeoff Raptor suspension, Fiberwerx Raptor +2.5 fiberglass fender kit and 37's but that's a whole different discussion for another day and maybe a little more extreme than I need right now.

New member pondering slightly bigger tires. I'd like to get a set of BFG ALL-TERRAIN T/A KO2 measuring LT275/60R20, which have an overall diameter of 32.9" according to tirerack.com. From what i've read, a 2" leveling kit should be all i need. I've been looking at this one:

I'd also like to get a heavy duty grill guard:
http://www.stage3motorsports.com/613...rd-Grille.html
So, my main question is will the extra weight from the grill guard be too much for the stock front suspension with the leveling spacer? or should i look into a small suspension lift (0-3") that will handle the extra weight better?
My goal is for better performance/handling without sacrificing ride quality

I am running BFG Rugged Terrain 275/60/20 on my stock 20" rims with no leveler or lift and have plenty of clearance.
I am moving up to 275/65/20 BFG KO2 this weekend with new MB 352 wheels and plan to install a Blistein (sp?) 5100 front shocks with built in 2" leveler. Not sure if I will have any issues and was hoping someone could chim in on this. However you should be ok with your tires.

Shadow5403, are you running a 2WD or 4WD? I have a 2010 4WD FX4 version and I am running BFGoodrich Rugger terrain 275/60/20 on stock rims and no leveler or lift with no issues. Plenty of clearance.
I am looking to move up another size this week to BFG KO2 275/65/20 on new rims M352 with adding a set of new front shocks with built in 2" leveler using the Bilstein 5100s.
