If EVERYTHING goes right I may be uploading a video of it running next weekend. I have the under hood and chassis wiring now. I should have the body and dash harness by the end of the week. Those are from a Powerstroke but from what I can tell from the schematics they have more wires but have the same as the gas ones so crossing my fingers on that. I've also purchased a Forscan to be able to program the keys and turn of the TPMS. I have a small repair to do to the under hood harness and I plan to attach most of the chassis harness to the F150 harness so that I don't have to pull the bed on my pickup. It will also keep with the factory look that for some reason I'm trying to keep. The biggest obstacle im trying to figure out right now is the radiator surge tank. It's trying to live where the new junction box needs to go. I'm also hoping the Superduty brake booster bolts up to my cab. The 07 AND 09 F-150 boosters went bolt up to the Superduty master cylinder and I will need that for this swap.

Happy Monday everyone!!

One thing that I'm curious if is if the gear indicator on the gauges will work with the console shifter. It's not controlled by a cable so I'm guessing it reads from the transmission and should!

Most of the engine bay is done. I need to mount the SD brake booster, SD ABS module, run the frame harness into the cab and connect it to the F150 frame harness (really didn't want to pull the bed too hook everything up and reroute the harness) but a lot of progress was made. The harness is mostly in, the SD firewall grommets now fit in the stock locations, the battery box was trimmed to clear the new harness and I got started on the interior harness. I also learned that an 08 F250 dash harness will plug right into an 09 F150 steering column.

Let it be known that Ford is definitely a 4 letter F word in my shop right now. I have the wrong body harness apparently!!! So freaking frustrated with this stupid project right now. If I had the right harness right now I'd be DAYS away from a test fire of the engine..... DAYS!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡

The intake is back on with the 08+ engine and transmission harnesses installed. The wrong body harness required little work to actually fit quite well in the engine bay

The problem came when it was time to hook up the last connector for the new trans harness..... and its not just a simple repin..... it's missing a lot of wires between the two....

If ANYONE ever gets drunk enough or crazy enough to do this make sure you have a donor vehicle in your possession that has EVERYTHING you need. I'm talking switches, options, keys and all. Or just do yourself a favor, cut your losses and walk away.

Damn man, sounds very frustrating. Sucks that it comes down to the stupid wiring to hold you up after all the other work already.
