Well the brakes still aren't working so there is that. I can hear the module cycling when I go through the steps, but it isn't pushing any fluid. I'm starting to feel it in the pedal but there is nothing at the calipers.

The next issue I'm now having is the mirrors. I can get them to fold in and out, but nothing as far as the power adjustments or light . I may have figured that out this morning on my way to the gym.

I also have no front turn signals. I have park lights (so its not the ground) but no turn signals. The tears work so I'm really scratching my head on this one.

That's odd, Is it possible there's just so much air that it's causing problems?

Well, I hope you got it figured out.

Is there a separate front and rear turn signal relay?

It doesn't look like there is but I'm also wondering if there is a separate fuse. I was quite fed up with it last night when I threw in the towel.

The front turn signals are stumping me. I just probed the socket and its showing I have two grounds. The relay is clicking but it disappears somewhere. I'd think that I have a bad wire but it mirrors it on both sides.

Also these mirrors are killing me. I know they are the cheap knockoffs for a F-150 but they just dont want to work. I'm almost to the point of buying a used SD mirror and see if it plugs in and works. If it does I may just buy a set and swap the mounting plates so that it bolts to my body.

The brakes are currently drip bleeding so hopefully in find brakes later tonigh .

The brakes are still being drip bled (the pedal feels a little firmer but I'm guessing they aren't actually working because the rear has yet to be bled). I still haven't figured out the mirrors or door locks, but right now I'm working on getting the seats wired up (so I can reach the pedals), disabling the shift interlock switch, reconnecting the E-brake and taking this out for a small spin.

Tomorrow I'll be going to the junkyard to try to get a HVAC module from a SD and a SD pair of mirrors. I'm 100% now waiting to get that new 12.1 aftermarket stereo and I plan on hard wiring the heated seats in (someday).

Right now I just REALLY need this thing out of my shop. After it's out I'll work on getting the bugs out, and the gooseneck hitch in. After all this thing is actually going to be set up to be my tow rig! I just need to get my CNC table dialed in so that I can cut the brackets for the hitch and airbags for the back.

Hopefully more to follow soon.

I want to be driving this before this thread reaches 500 posts! As dumb as it sounds that's my goal!

Army. Former Commo guy and current drill sergeant. I'm what nightmares (ironic since that's what I call my truck right now) are made of.

Well everyone, I have officially hit the Screw it point. It's not going to completely be finished and all of the bugs aren't going to be worked out. I need this thing working and I'm likely going to ha e to work the bugs out later. So here's a short list of the things that will be going on the list of "S=÷T to do later":
1. ABS
2. Interior lights
3. Stereo (kinda already planned that)
4. 4x4 (having some code that I dont have time to troubleshoot. Everything else will be there.)
5. Sunroof/Powered slide .

i REALLY wanted to not do this but I really just need this thing working. I will continue to update thos thread as that stuff gets done, but as of now I am just out of free time, need a working truck, and honestly need to not have this over my head for a bit.

The 10 way seats are in and working (other than the DS lumbar pump. I hope someday I'll hook up the heat/AC.

The mirrors fold but dont seem to want to power power adjust.

The rear seats are in but the mounting points need modified. I know I could put the stock rear seat in but the 09 is in a lot better shape. Luckilly it looks like the brackets that attach it to the rear of the cab should bolt right in...... if i can find where i pilot them......

I also ran a screw into the shifter to disable the shift interlock. With an error for the ABS showing up (it doesn't like the F150 wheel peed sensors) it wouldn't have worked anyway .

Here's to a lot more progress tomorrow.

One thing that is really exciting is that the interior is looking nice, the seats are SUPER comfortable and the gauge position in the F-150 dash is great!
