Bluddy hell, that's gonna be deeeeep.

(The single probably doesn't need to be bigger than 3" or so, by the maths)

Come on man! Find a spot to relocate the reservoir, get you some longer lines and call it good! Easy kill brother! This is a SICK swap though man. Where are you stationed?

lol apparently my sarcasm isn't coming through I've figured out how to move it and I'll have that part done tonight. Now I need to just get to the dealer to get the right clamshell for my PCM so that I can get it wired!!

Did you just use the N word (need) in a F-150 V10 swap forum?! smdh....

My bad, I didn't catch the sarcasm. Wiring always stinks...but I actually kind of find it therapeutic. You never did mention where you're stationed...

Eh, size of the tail pipes doesn't really have an effect on performance so long as they're big enough. The b-pipe/y-pipe/single will have an effect, and if it's too big, you'll kill the torque until RPM's up enough to fill the pipe and get velocity up.

Velocity is gooood, so long as you have *just* enough pipe to move all the exhaust gas.

although you should have no shortage of torque with 413cid and a 4.165" stroke...

I know the size won't do anything more than a 3" would........ but I thought why not go big? It's the only 3V swap I've seen and since I have to fab most of it I figured why not. Plus I'm not worried if I lose a few ft/lbs on the bottom end. I'm interested to see what this thing sounds like and feels on the top end!!

Plus on the bright side, I should have at least 100 extra ft/lbs of torque more than the 5.4 ever thought of having after this is all said and done. And that doesn't even count how tired my engine was when the flex plate let go!
