everything worked before I pulled out the F150 dash harness though.

Go back through all the steps when you pulled out the F150 harness. You must have unplugged something that went through that harness and is now disconnected. I'll bet you will find it. You could lay the 150 harness back in there and look at every connection and follow it through to where it went. A little patience will pay off.

I'll be back on it tomorrow or Monday. Today I Need to move a parts rig for my 94 to the side of my shop and get it ready to part out. It only has 91k on it! The engine is getting swapped until I have the funds to build a proper 460 for it.

I'm starting to think that something went wrong with the dash harness when I tried to integrate it in with the F-150 harness and then removed said harness. I may have found another harness to swap it out with and I'm starting to like the idea of getting i . Just start over with something that hasn't been cut into or modified. Either way I will have to remove the dash, but this gives me a lot more peace if mind.

Looks like I found a new dash harness along with the overhead harness to get my sunroof and power sliding rear window to work. They are also going to pull the harness for the heater box (I can't believe I never got that before) so that I can get that situated with the dash out. I'm going to have to set up a relay block to get the sliding rear window to work with the newer F-150 switches, but this is another big thing to get this thing FINISHED instead of just driving. If I'm going to have to pull the dash I may as well try to get one other big thing done while I'm there. I really need to get the new door latches/cables to finish the interior though along with new seat belts for the front. Hopefully I'll be able to get those taken care of soon and I'll really be able to start buttoning up this thing and not only drive it but start flexing that V10 when I pick up my gooseneck trailer project!

I'm getting my parts tomorrow but unfortunately the military calls and I need to go to training for a few weeks. I should be home around the end of the month and I plan to not only drive, but finish this thing and really get a good line on how awesome this truck is going to be! I will warn you guys (and myself for that matter) that it's a F-150 on 37s with 3.73 gears.... so keep that in mind when the first review comes out.... But just know that it should have 4.88s by the end of the year!

I should have some down time as well while I'm there so I'm hoping to dig into the schematics again on the F-150 and see (not by having 2 wiring harnesses in my dash again) if I can get the Phoenix Automotive 12.1 infotainment to work on the truck. I'd have to get the 09+ HVAC Module to work, but all of the plugs for the modules seem to be the same so it might be a plug and play? If I can get that to work they have the ability to go into the can bus system and work with the heated/cooled seat module and get that to work (this being my biggest motivator besides it just looking REALLY COOL).

Next year I'd really like to also do the '11-'14 front end conversion on it. I'm actually a big fan of the 07 bed but I'd really like to update the front before I build a set of bumpers for the truck.

Basically just know that there is another radio silence coming up but this thing will get finished soon!

Idea number 2 for finishing this (if I can't get a android unit to work) is taking the center of the F-250 dash and grafting it into a generic F-150 trim panel and calling it a day. Even though I really liked the idea of getting the large screen, I'm not going to fight this thing forever. I can always upgrade later.

Yup, I've officially decided to go with the above plan on the entertainment/climate control setup. I can always upgrade at a later date and time (more than likely once these styles of radios are available for the 08-10 Superdutys) and the look of this will not look bad or out of place. I'll get a local shop to wrap it so that it matches the factory trim and run an aftermarket double din radio.

This truck needs to be done and be out doing bad @$$ things and not be taking up space in my shop.

Here's to getting it done soon!!
