I've played with it already (had to see how well the console shifter worked) and it just rarely uses 5th gear. 4th actually feels like OD and I would actually like to keep it that way for the fuel economy (that's a V10 joke right there) but I really want to tow in 4th and not 3rd

Thank you! I don't have any other options at this point, but in definitely obsessed with getting this thing done and putting it to work. This engine doesn't really get the love that it deserves. You get this thing to breathe and it SINGS!

Hay season has been taking up my time, so I haven't had the chance to dig into this thing. I did get the chance to wash this thing though! After getting covered in dirt for the past few years in the shop I almost forgot how good this thing cleans up!

Should have the new radiator core this weekend and I think I've figured out how to get the headliner to work with the new trim. I won't be in the field this weekend so I'll be able to see if the head gasket went or not. The color of the coolant in the tank isn't pretty so ill be flushing this thing out in the very least before I tear it apart.

Cross your fingers y'all, but know if the gaskets are blown it will just get more upgrades. MLS head gaskets and ARP studs are in it's future if it's blown because I have a WILD idea for this things future.....

One of the big cam houses had 3v V10 blanks and would grind them in any of the 3v patterns they had, so I had a buddy run a simulation.
CNC ported heads (if you could talk one of the mustang head porters into doing the fifth cylinder on each head)
Stage 3 Cams
Probably forged rods and pistons
577 ft/lb @ 5500
678 hp @ 7000

400ft/lb from 2500+
450ft/lb from 3250+
500ft/lb from 4000-7000

Could be insane with the right bank account. Sadly, I doubt many of us have that.

Sadly that is not the status of my bank account, but would love to do that kind of build! I'm just going to go with the tried and true method of, "When in doubt.... throw boost at it!"

Now I just need to find a used V10 Whipple supercharger kits since they don't make them anymore....

There's 2 reasons I don't wasnt a turbo.
1: That would require a an intercooler/piping and with the lack of room that I currently have, I'd rather not.

2: Eventhough turbos sound cool.... the exhaust note on this thing is PERFECT and I don't want to mess with it!

Transmission probably couldn't handle that power.

If it can handle a 6.4, it could handle that.
