Are you sure? The 5.4L develops 360ft-lbs, yet the 4R75 can handle 678ft-lbs?

Trans would probably be at its limits. I'd be worried about the torque converters, i hear tell of them 'ballooning' if you push 600+ through them.
If anyone's going that route, they'd better know their limitations, or they'll get real familiar the hard way. "Built" parts highly recommended.

I've broke enough things to know I'd need to upgrade the t/c and trans. Luckily the 5R110 is fairly strong out of the box!

with the 460 out of the parts truck i can finally clear out the shop and get the V10 in here. Apparently there have been a bad batch of thermostats at our local part store so I'm hoping that is it! Even if it is I'll be pulling the radiator and double checking that I can make that 3 aluminum radiator work. That'll put it down for 10 days, but is a much faster turn around than lifting the cab off and doing the head gaskets.

I also think I know what I'm going to do with my '10 interior parts that dont want to work with my 07 headliner. I'm going to have the front windshield pulled (it's cracked and needing replaced) and I'll splice in the A and B pillar parts of the newer headliner along with the overhead console (I know it sounds dumb, but I freaking hate the 07 one. This will allow me to dang near finish the interior!

I wonder how hard it is to remove the sunroof trim panel to convert it over to black?

Well it looks like I may have got SUPER lucky. I didn't flush the engine out when I got it and there was a lot of junk in it. This was the color of the brand new coolant that I out in it less than 100 miles ago. Also that oil is (95% sure) the residuals from the car was soap that I didn't rinse out of the bucket very well.

The plan now is to throw some dish soap in the water that's in it, run it around a bit, rinse the engine out a few times and then do a coolant/engine oil change when I get the new radiator in iit.As long as there's no water in the oil I'm going to hope that I dodged a bullet.

Funny how much easier my OBS wiring project seems now that I've done the V10!

It's my 94 F-150 that's been on the back burner for like 8 years now. Hoping to hear it run soon though!!
