I have to ask, how's this thing going? We have V10's in E450's at work... It would be fun to put one in something small...

No update on the truck really. It's just been sitting in the driveway. I ended up catching the Rona, and had to also switch my time this summer into finishing some house projects. I'm going to try sell in the summer and buy property as I've quickly outgrown my shop.

The only real update is I acquired an 8" SD lift with 4 link and full rear springs. That should really help with the 1 ton swap at some point hopefully late winter. Still planning on swapping the 09-14 front end first so I can install the Mishimoto radiator and Morimoto headlights.

Bringing back the old thread! I wish I could say I've worked on it, but things are taking a bit of a turn on this project. Front end parts are getting ridiculously expensive, so I'm looking at buying a wrecked F-150, pulling the parts for the front end and selling/parting out the rest of the truck. Also I got a set of tons from a 2011 F-250 but this thing took a bit of a turn in direction so those won't be used. Looking at going much bigger on the axles.
I'm also looking to pick this up tomorrow for it.

well, if you're still gonna be working on it, i'm still interested in watching this thread, it's becoming even more of a custom machine now

This thing is turning into A LOT more than I thought it was ever going to be. If anyone finds a non intercooled supercharger manifold for the 3v 5.4 let me know. I need one to be able to make a V10 manifold! As soon as I can get my hands on one I can work on putting boost into this thing!

Well here we are, finally back at it! Next on the list of things to do is get this 05+ coolant reservoir attached and see if it fixes the spontaneous over heating. I think this is going to be the winning ticket as I think the other reservoir was creating air pockets. I'm kind of blown away at how good it fits next to my intake tube.

I'll also have to relocate my PS reservoir, but the SD reservoir is massive compared to the F-150 and should go in place of the old coolant reservoir.

I also need to move the EVAP valve to the other side of the brake booster

I only get a fee hours at most until Sunday each night this week, but it appears this should work. Next step is to get the old PS reservoir bracket out and coolant expansion tank hose put. After that I can start figuring out the mounting brackets for the new tanks.

Hoping to get this wrapped up by Sunday and start figuring out how I'll modify the rack and pinion to clear the oil pan.
