My '08 front and rear emblems started to delaminate, and the truck is still under warranty. The dealer had to take pictures of the goofed up emblems to show Ford.
Ford had no issue with replacing both the front and rear.

FYI, they are the same emblem, if anyone did not know that.

My pops 08 escape was doing the same thing. He used Acetone and it made it all chrome. Looks awesome, didn't hurt the plastichrome at all. Warning Try at your Own Risk

2007 XLT and both front and rear are faded and clear plastic pealing...looks like crap. Replaced the front with a layover billet non-emblem grill and now I have to just replace the rear. I was trying to look for a custom one with a marlin or tuna on it but just can't seem to find anything. Anyone have any ideas?

I wonder if it's doing it on the new trucks. Mine is an 07 and is doing it, but my Ranger never did and I had that for 9 years.

Here is a not so good quality pic of my '05 F150 front grill emblem - hasn't been washed in about two weeks but you can tell it's in pretty good shape.

Patriot Decals makes custom overlays, you can submit a picture and they will make print them for you. I wanted mine to say FX4 Offroad but they couldn't use and Ford Logos, so although I've never used them, I've heard nothing but good.

I noticed mine started having the problem as soon as I started taking it to the drive through car wash... The touchless one that just has high pressure water jets, no scrubbers. When I get a new one I won't be going there again.
