I need a replacement on an '06 as well. Kinda sad that the main thing that brands this as a Ford, was where the shortcut was taken.

Like stated before, makes me question the quality of the rest of my truck, and where other shortcuts were taken.

It has the 3 prongs like the front, but doesn't screw on, and has some double sided tape to hold it on. You just have to pry it off.

Mine had the same problem so I just painted it black!

I plasti dipped mine. Looks cool and ford letters still peek through.

Thanks man, I'm going to give it another shot tom. after work. I was getting worried about them being screwed in behind the tailgate because my rhino liner is covering up all the tailgate hardware.

Yall's painted ones look good. I'm going to try and sand my old ones down and paint the blue part black so that the ford still shows through. It looks like the hardest part is going to be getting just the ford part covered in tape.

mine was chipped and fadded so i sanded it down so it was nice and smoth, and then just painted it black!

My front and rear were terrible I bought new ones from ebay, user name tomstubes.

Paid $20 each.

They are reproduction not oem but look the same.

I need a new front emblem and i saw a guy with a custom monster energy emblem! Does anyone know where i can get one??? Or do you think he made his own?? The emblem was the oval shape which makes me think they might sell these somewhere?
