I have a Kobalt that I got for $288 from Lowes. I definitely do NOT recommend it. I ended up rebuilding the locking mechanism myself after exchanging the box 3 times because it wouldn't stay shut. I have heard great things about Husky and UWS though, through friends who have them and their prices are relatively similar. Here's a few pics of mine. You'll see I've made a few other upgrades to my box besides just the locking mechanism.

Have always had uws and never have had a problem with them. The black low profile I had ran me about $325 or so. Got a cam locker now and let me tell yeah, they're the best out there!! They're a little pricey but like always.... You get what you pay for.

Has your truck been painted? I have noticed on my F150, and by the looks of your picture and it looks like the gold on the front drivers door seems to be a different shade than the gold than the rest of the truck.

Sorry for the poor lighting but I just ran out to the driveway and took these with my phone a few mins ago.

It's a UWS slimbox or something like that. I originally had a full size UWS low profile, but it took too much bed length and was barely holding anything. After seeing a friend of mine get one of these I decided to get one too. It is the perfect size, it holds the stuff I need it to hold, and I can put my quad or my ninja in the bed with no issues now.

Not sure how good you can see it but I will take a better one when I get home!
I have this tool box and love it. it carries my 50ft air hose for my onboard air, 50 ft extension cord, socket set, drill, jumper cables, trailer hitches, and tool box with assorted tools. i also have sapace to put things under the truck. very good value for the price.

stay away from the kobalt tool box, it is known for a cheap lock mechanism. I have had someone try and break into mine with no success. they managed to get one side of the lock off but couldnt get the other side.
