And silverbullet, engine size? You got a 4.6 right? If so its not listed in that case
Right that's why I asked if anyone knew if there's a way to cover up the 5.4 on the badge so I can use the ones that I've found if not I guess I'm back to square one

You could probably get away with filling the 5.4 in with bondo glass or such and paint over...

You'd then have to either cut through the fender, or make the mounting holes work for wiring and attach some other way, get the letters covered in a clear substance, set up bulbs, preferably not in a visible way i'd think...…run wires....

Don't get me wrong, I think it's a cool idea, just once thought out it's really not practical for what you get. Even if you did glow in the dark letters it'd be almost as cool and much more practical.

Also, gonna throw some clear LaminX round foglight covers up in the BST, what should I ask? They cost me $21 shipped and are still sealed from LaminX.

I never thought about glow in the dark lettering that might be cool 2. I had thought about four the clear using plexiglass

Glow in the dark would be way easier man. Overlay or paint. The lights would be a lot of work for a relatively small feature. Not trying to shoot down your idea man, it's a great unique idea and if you do put the work in I'd love to see it done

I went to Advance to buy a different kind and couldn't get it to work either... I was cold and had gas on me so I put it back together and said the hell with it for the day.
I had a heck of a time when I did mine. The metal scissor style tool worked instantly for me though, rather than the cheap plastic ones. I had the opposite problem, front came off easily, back was a pain. Good luck

I'm thinking I might attempt it seeing as is never been done or at least to my knowledge it hasn't. The badges are only $25 so I'm not out much if it don't work. and that includes the tailgate emblem. I have the main leds already and a small sheet of plexiglass should only be around 5-10 at Lowes. If I'm not mistaken there is a hole in the fender right around the center of the emblem I was going to use that hole for wires and use several flat top leds.
