Had to replace my almost 4 year old DieHard group 65 battery. Truck wouldn't start this morning in -14 F temperature. On the flip side, got to use a new Christmas present of a portable jump starter. Used Stanley 600 Amp max jump starter and got it going in the AM.

What do you guys think about a black FX4 decal and possibly black LED tails?
That would look pretty good on your truck. Might as well make the rear of the truck match the front color scheme wise.

I have always thought about getting one of those but I figured 1 of 2 things would always happen, forget to charge the jumpstarter or forget it on the charger at home. LOL

Put the new wheels/tires on the truck. So since I've had it I put on a tuner, trades the chrome bug shield for a black one to break it up a little and wheels and tires. Thinking of a chrome bull bar with a 20" light and that's about it. Here are the before and afters. Sorry it's dirty in the after but cold with more weather coming it.

Washed mine yesterday and today it took me to work so I can afford to own it. Just had my rear brakes and coolant replaced last week. Having a 40 mile work drive is really racking up the miles on mine. 283,000 miles, my goal is to be at 350,000. Love this truck... motor not so much

^^^ Looks really good. Where did you pick up the headlights at? Were they plug and play or did you have to add anything?

Thanks!
I got them at americanmuscle.com
The quality seems great, but their service has let me down on almost every order in one aspect or another. Not convinced I’ll order again from there.
All I had to do was use the quick connect automotive connectors that were supplied and tied the halos and LED’s to the parking lights. 30-45 mins total install time.
After driving, I may need to adjust the high beams as well.

Cool ProClip phone dock

Today I added a ProClip phone dock to my truck. I was attracted to the “click” installation that this company, ProClip USA offered, rather than any double sided tape solutions out there. I’ve tried them and they always fail when it’s above 85 outside and over 100 inside my truck.
I got mine yesterday and was surprised to see they actually had some double sided tape on the inside of the mount. I figured it was for extra assurance.
Upon attempting to install I was never able to get my ProClip to “click” into place. After fighting with it I replaced their crap tape with my own 3M VHB tape and stuck the sucker in place.
Other than the install, the mount is pretty Slick. It charges my device and places it somewhere safe. I’m not concerned with being able to see my screen that much, since I have a CarPlay receiver in my dash, but I do want to make sure my phone is safe. There are times when certain notifications aren’t allowed through the CarPlay interface, in which case, if safe to do so, I can take a quick glance at my phone safely.
Check it out.
