been giving her the best treatment she's had in at least 22 months - a good wash outside (and damn she needed it after today), but the best effort I've got into the interior. that ambition is still unfinished, but it's not the smallest undertaking. gonna need a vacuum job when I get home Friday and and some more wiping on the floor. 10:50 pm and i'm still finishing rinsing the exterior. see what else I can do before I give it up for now and get some midnight supper
even at night that blue looks sooo good cleaned up.
Today's "hour long project" (turned into 4 hours) was mounting the KC Flex LEDs on the hood mounts from alternative off-road. Not sure if I got a bad mount or what but some forcing of things was required. Pleased with how they look, going to aim them tonight.
Towed my daughters car out to Kansas from California where she will be attending college. 3000 mile round trip. The old F150 ran like a champ. I love the fact you can tow faster than 55 mph(towing limit in Cali) in all the other states I passed through.
I washed and detailed the interior this weekend, so it can get dirty sitting at work. I love Black!!
Looks great man! Are those just the stick on chrome handle covers? Really thinking about getting some to break up the dull black handles that are faded.
Did some math... trailer weights about 3200... and the lift around 3100... Without a brake controller. Went roughly 220 miles up to my dads place up north.
Time for a brake controller. Up for suggestions while I search around.
Yes they are the stick on covers, had them color matched at the body shop. Holding up great other than the one on the tailgate has a few chips from the handle.
