Got sick of looking at the oxidized roof of my truck from my office.

Using the Porter Cable DA and this stuff:

I typically don't resort to that level of cutting, but the roof was in bad shape. All in, 2 hours, wash->compound->wash->polish (didn't require much)->wax

Thanks bud.
I got mine from Harbor Freight on a coupon, cheapest I ever found it. Be aware, the ultimate compound (consumer grade) doesn't cut as fast as the 105. I've done side-by-side with ultimate compound and the 105, and the end result is the same, just get there faster with the 105.
I prefer their consumer grade ultimate polish over everything you can find on a shelf. I'll use a Griots or a Wolfgang on a really sensitive project, usually dark colors only where it really matters.
My go-to wax is again Meguiars ultimate paste. I tell owners to use a good wax and take care of it. The super high end stuff with lots of carnuba doesn't last as long.
Show car finishes are a whole different set of chemicals.![Smile](https://www.f150forum.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
My other recent toys (the 360 is a friend car I worked on):

Dropped the transmission pan, put in a drain plug and changed the filter, the fluid was very dirty with lots of sludge in the pan and on the magnet. Dropped the spare and aired it up. Pulled the FPDM, no corrosion so sprayed it with undercoat and put it back up with a couple of homemade phenolic spacers.
