In town uses a load of salt and some liquid stuff, almost all salt though. And the weathers far worse, so more need for it. One more of many reasons I can't stand town. Around my area uses a fair amount of sand but some salt as well.

On my 06 SCAB 5.4 2WD added 2400lb rear leafs and Bilstein 5100s to front and rear. Lifted front to max of Bilstein 5100 Adjustable Height. Ended up with 2.25" lift on front, and 3" lift on rear from the beefier 4/1 springs. Was hoping to reduce the rake, but ended up increasing it by 1"! I used the 2WD Bilsteins in the front, and switched to 4WD Bilsteins in the back.

I hear I will lose about .5" lift from the leafs after a 1000 miles or so. Does anyone have any experience with this? Did you lose some height after a break in? I remember adding a leaf to my Toyota Tacoma years ago, and never lost the height I gained when new. This is a little different I guess since the whole pack is new.

My original springs were 2/1 , and were looking pretty sagged.

Will be ordering 33" tires this week. Turns out what was on here when I bought this were 30"

For those who are wondering, the ride is similar to my old springs, with the only noticeable difference being less lean when driving around curves.
