Soooo cool! I sat on my tailgate with my 18 year old son and watched 4 hours of the 2016 Hot Rod Power Tour come through my town of 900 where I live. Many stopped for gas at our only station. Rumor was 2000 cars. I am still amazed!

This was inspired by mavrik2747 switch panel he made. Myself and a buddy designed the plate out in cad and cut it on his plasma cutter. End results came out great. Have the top half backlights to wire up and need to get something for a couple of he switches but I'm ecstatic with the results.
Need to get the top half of switches to light up only when the switch is on. Am yet to figure that out
Heres the cad design in case you were interested

Really cool when things happen in a small town. Around where I live, I'm 45 minutes from west palm beach where the Barrett Jackson auction is held every year. And I'm about 20 minutes from Stuart where the huge detail event is held. I'm gonna go the next time it's around. Pretty excited to get my 56 f100 underway and fixed so I can participate in various events around here.

Well, as I put my passenger window up and turned the AC on I heard a snap...then watched the window drop. Sounds like the cable snapped. I'll be working on this the next 2 days as I am off and will have plenty of time...but the search function here/from my phone does not want to cooperate with me.
Can/will someone point me in the right direction?

To get the top LED light on the switch to light up, you need to make sure it's grounded.
On this picture, the only difference in the wiring that I did is that I have the dash lights wired into the bottom right pin and ran the power from the battery to a fuse box and individually fused lines going to each switch from the fuse box.
I have one switch that keeps blowing the fuse every time it's flipped so I'm going to add relays to all of them.

Over the weekend I drove it to the Guadalupe River to do some camping and floating. Had a blast. Today I drove it to a job interview with the Texas Parks and Wildlife. Got here about 30 min early in case it was hard to find but it was actually very easy. Now to sit in the truck for another 15 min before I go in.

Well since I inspired it, don't suppose I could get a spare???!! Looks awesome! Looks factory, very clean. Looks a lot better than regular ABS plastic.

I grounded the switches but they lit up all the time, even when truck was off. Was wierd since the switches that the lights came with only lit up when the lights were switched on.
