I have dual matching dents from the tailgate resting on the bumper because of the way my fat *** climbs into the back of the truck (regularly). It only hurts for a little bit then it's just character. (make sure to sand it out and stop rust/paint/clear coat it)

Your tailgate supports don't stop it from going down that far?

And I'm just going to use the little matching touch up pen on it. The chipped paint spots are so tiny.

Really wish I could suck the dent out somehow. But I will not pay $100's for an 8 year old truck.

Still, took me 8 years to do, so not bad.

I'm pretty sure they're not meant to support 330lbs applied to the end of the tailgate. (plus they're tiny little itty bitty dents)

Also I thought I saw metal spots but maybe that's just grease. If it's bare metal the damage is already done, I wager.

After looking at lift kits for my truck I'm pretty sure I could have the parts cut and welded at work to drop the LCAs and front diff then I can put a 2" level above the strut and there's a spacer to go between the UCA and spindle then whatever to lift the rear I could do a 4" lift for around a couple hundred vs over a grand so what do you all think I wouldn't be bajaing the truck is there anything I'm missing

It's actually Red, not sure why it looks Amber.
