So my new android radio I bought is too small for the factory opening, too big for the metra dash kit, and the little surround piece they gave me is too big for the opening in the dash. Going to have to trim either the metra kit or the one that came with the radio. Anybody ever have to do this? If so how did you go about trimming nice and straight? Im open to other ideas as well. Lets hear your thoughts....

I had to trim my install kit on my old radio. I used a medium grit sanding pad on a 90 angle grinder the buffed it smooth with a 3M blue finishing pad. Can't remeber the grit numbers off hand tho it was a while ago

Now homeless, the house we were going to buy we walked on, no thanks those sellers are terrible!

On the way out here, items in the bed got too hot, probably EGTs. Bottles of ATF blew and made a mess. The chemical resistant bed liner is bare steel in a larger spot. Went to home depot to get some dawn dish soap to clean it up, the cap came unscrewed and now it's in the seat and carpet.
