Don't use those crappy mirror fix kits. Clean all the residue off the glass, then rough up the metal a bit with a Dremel tool. let the jb weld tack up a bit before pressing it on the glass, that way you won't have to hold it in place so long. permanent fix. If this helps anyone, your welcome.

It's my little brothers first car lol. I also have a 56 f100 straight 6 3 on the tree. Except it's pretty much a total loss due to rust I'm in the process of locating a cab. Probably gonna have to drive out to Arizona to get a good one.
