Ended up getting a windshield button fix. Just put it on, cleaned the windshield, put the activator on, and then put the glue on the button and pushed it on. Roughed it up with a dremel first. It's solid after only pushing on it for about 30 seconds. Put tape on it to hold it there, will let it sit overnight and I'll put the mirror back on tomorrow.

This is the little old beauty I pulled home with mine not to long ago. No where near as old as yours. It's 81 amc eagle. Straight 6 4.2L with 4x4. Original owner car. Never left where it was bought new.

It's my little brothers first car lol. I also have a 56 f100 straight 6 3 on the tree. Except it's pretty much a total loss due to rust I'm in the process of locating a cab. Probably gonna have to drive out to Arizona to get a good one.
