I got my ebay cheapo LED H13 bulbs today. These are exactly the same as 4x4truckleds sells. The box is the same, the print on the box, the silica packs, the baggie the allen wrench comes in, everything is the same. The lights and ballast have the same exact castings and markings on them. Hi/Low function is perfect as well. The difference? These cost me $50 shipped as the seller took my offer. 4x4truckleds are $150 plus shipping.....

Summers, how do you like the bulbs from 4x4trucks? I imagine the eBay ones will perform the same. I love my retrofits but don't feel like building another set for a different vehicle.

4x4truckleds are fine. They are in my Expedition, my wife loves them. Even 4x4truckleds told me they are probably all made in the same factory. He said the only difference may, I repeat , may be the ballasts, but he couldnt tell me for sure. I asked the difference in his and ebay cheapos, he said "customer support and warranty", which tells me they are the same exact lights and ballasts.

Ordered the lock nuts for my retrofit. Officially will have everything to do the retrofit now. Plan on trying to get the shrouds painted tomorrow after work. And going to get the headlights in tomorrow and pre aimed. Then out and in the oven to begin all the madness.

I pre-aimed mine and they still had to come down a ton after I got the projectors mounted. Thats how one bucket got scratched after I sealed it. My fault though for not taking more time aiming them.

Just hoping I get it all done right. I haven't even started it... And I can already see I don't wanna do it again lol. Opening for paint. Yeah that's fine but projectors probably not lol. I would probably go the led route

I cant wait to see what they look like!

Sidenote, just went for a drive and I am blown away. These LED's are even better than in my Expedition. The highs are freaking amazing. The HID highs were nowhere close to these. I had my daughter get in her Grand Prix GT and she said they were not to bright at all after passing me twice driving around the block. So they did not need re-aimed.
