I heard once you go full synthetic, don't go back to regular motor oil. A blend maybe.

Curious whether that's true or not.

I have always done the blend. But with the way it sounds and feels, its synthetic from now on. Just hit 150k, thats what prompted me to try full synthetic.

EL ribbon looks good when it's circling a tail light.

That's my wife's '08 Ford Edge with some tails I got from Daytime Brightlites as a prototype before they released them to the public.

I love the EL ribbon on the outside and was, literally, just thinking I might try to do something similar.

I guess I never posted it, but I got my new subs in last week. I got a dual 10" box from Amazon, and was amazed at the quality, feels very nice and solid. I removed the old sub, and Jack and Jack mounts from under my seat. Installed 2 Rockford/Fosgate R1 10" subs, wired into a 500w Sony amp, under the front passenger seat. We removed the door sills and passenger seat to run the wiring and mount the amp. Can't see wiring at any point in the truck. Looks completely stock, and seats fold well still. Wired into my Pioneer AVH5700, sounds awesome.
