watch it with the canada remarks, that vote was rigged damnit haha, I'm thinking when the '04 gets parked again next year I might open the lights up for a paint job. if so, I'll definitely pull the map on the reflectors idea at least. thinking black housings.

I removed my 1 piece drive shaft and used the special blue lube from Ford after the techs told me it would not hurt/mix with the trans fluid because I developed a "thud" when downshifting from 2nd to 1st on my automatic trans. Did not cure it....damn. Just read where if all my Edge settings are the same on shift firmness this could cause that symptom. So I just set the shift firmness to 0,2,4 respectively. Hope this cures it. Other possibility is installing 3 degree pinion shims. This has me stumped.
ouch, hope you get it figured out man. not the first time at all that I've heard of tuners messing with the trans etc.....

Let us know if that fixes it please. Mine doesn't do this and I'd sure like to change it before it starts my edge is set to 10,10,10

Very well done, and they look great, however they look like they are aimed extremely high. I feel like that cutoff probably blinds the crap out of anyone in a car. Maybe it's just the picture that makes it look that way.

You gonna do a map of your province? The eBay Harley style headlights are way easier to pry open for sure.

They are pretty high. 8" of lift with the nose higher than the butt makes it a little hard to get them down, but I have a good bit of adjustability left. I'm also pretty close to that wall, less than the recommended 25 feet, which makes them seem higher. The whole reason for getting projectors is so that you don't blind other people (I HATE when people run stupid PnPs and run people off the road), so you have a valid concern

Awesome news, I set the shift firmness on 1-2 at zero, 2-3 at 4 and 3-4 at 6 and all down-shift thuds/clunks/grabbing feelings went 100% away. I read where the 1-2 shift firmness needs to be less that either the 2-3 or 3-4. Must have been true.

Next up is removing the rear blocks and adding 3 degree pinion shim for a perfectly level stance.

Oh and as far as ever having a problem with the Edge and transmissions. I ran a Edge on my 01 F250 Superduty with the 2V 5.4 and 470RW for over 125K and never a single engine or trans problem. Sol the truck with right at 175K on it.

My regular shifting was fine, it was the 2-1 down shift that was hard and thud like. It happened after I change my trans filter and fluid. I did have them all set at 6. Then I got to reading that the settings being to close can cause my symptoms. I did run 4,6,8 on my Superduty, so that may be why I never felt that thud from 2-1.

I can see that making sense because the 1-2 shift is hard(er) than the other ones even when stock.

Yep makes sense. With these new tires, I feel a lot more that I did with the old vibrating, out of round, wobbly *** Goodyear Eagle GTII that were on it. I swear I hate Goodyear tires...These Coopers are amazing compared to them.
