Thats a great deal! Put them in my sons 97 Ranger and they look better than halogen, but scatter odd. He is buying some new headlight housings to see if that helps.

Might possibly be selling a lot of things off the truck, like tuner, headlights, sub box, and other things. I may possibly be trading it in on a 2011 chevy 2500hd from work. I'm worried one day that timing chain is gonna break or slip a tooth and it's gonna blow up on me. I'm not sure yet. Gotta see what the numbers will be. Only issues I've seen with it is the fact that it needs tires. They are 38x15.50x20s. $2000 worth of tires. Need to be downsized to a 37x13.50x20.

Got my rear wheel well liners today! Should have seen the look on my wifes face when UPS showed up......she was like "thats the one thing you told me you really wanted for Christmas, why did you buy them". My reply was "because they had a 10% off coupon". She then said "well thanks for saving me money, they are going in the closet for you for Christmas". I am good with that, but only one problem, its pretty cold here in December. Guess they will get put on in the garage after I work them a little with a heat gun.

I totally understand your reason for not trusting your motor. I am in the same boat. After my little scare a few weeks ago, I am so nervous it will do it again. I had several people say the same exact thing after I explained what happened and 3 people all said "I bet it was bad gas". I am starting to think they are correct.

Mine sounds like it is a broke tensioner. It sounds like the chain slaps around. My mothers old chevy 1500 had 300k miles and ran great. I would have drove that truck across the country. It's got the 6.0 motor, which is a good motor. The chevy trucks are reliable. The tires being so expensive suck. The good thing is, my used car manager is a really great guy. And he will make a deal happen that benefits the customer. If I go in and give him a number on my truck that I want. He will make it happen to help his employees out. Even if it means he takes a hit on a sale. He looks over his employees. I'll have the truck on the lift and drive it around. May even take it home overnight and drive it around.
