Because it works perfectly like that. I have 15 plus years fooling with Edge tuners. They recommend a rev limiter at least 250 rpm higher than the highets shift point. Watch your tach, that 250 doesn't leave much wiggle room so I set it 350 higher. This is a tested and tried custom set of numbers that took a long time to get right. These numbers are different than what I ran when it was still and Edge, the Gryphon coversion took extra tweaking. You wont find a single person out there that has tried my tune and doesn't like it.

Its for daily use. Try those shift firmness numbers at +4, then you can easily adjust. If you ever need to change just one setting, like shift firmness, there is an option of "load previous settings", then scroll to whatever you want to adjust. Then save as usual. One thing note, not all trucks will react the same to shift firmness, that is one area that may need so experimenting.
