Digital ballasts don't have radio interference like the older analog ballasts did.

The slim ones are much more reliable as the older regular ones occassionally die and need to be replaced. Out of all my group buys 95% get the slim ballasts. Look at the pictures link I believe there is a few pics of the tiny size.

why are slims better? besides the fact that they can fit in tight places.

Not to crap on your parade,but there are lifetime warranty HID kits in the slim digital ballast type for $89.95 going on currently other forums.

Personally I rather buy a quality kit that has been proven over and over that will last rather than a kit that will market just to sell and probably have to replace bad ballasts/bulbs more often than others. I always say you get what you pay for.
They own the plant over in China where all of these other kits come from......Ever heard of rebadging? Seriously man,this is an old topic from the BMW forums where we have taken apart ballasts and they all have the same internals.Would you like me to hyperlink the thread here? |
