Default 02s and headers on 99 4.6

I want to get long tube headers and complete 2.5 duals with x or y but where will I put the o2 sensors for up steam? downstream I can just weld 2 bungs for each bank. And any tips on removing manifolds with out breaking bolts

most long tube headers have bungs already installed at the right position fo rthe upstream oxygen sensors. If your not running cats you can get a custom tune to turn the rear oxygen sensors off.

My trick for the manifold bolts. If they aren't broken now. I use a torch and cut all the heads off the studs. Get the manifold out of the way and use a stud remover or vice grip. I would rather try to work with something than nothing. Once the bolts are broken, the only option is to drill. If you leave a bit of stud, there is something to work with. The O2 sensors can be put anywhere, they make weld in O2 bungs. Drill a couple holes in the exhaust pipe, weld in the bungs and screw in the O2's. I use these bung's all the time at work, when an O2 replacement goes sour!
