Default 4.88 gears in my 9.75 rear end?

I have been told by a few people that they werent sure that I could put 4.88 gears in my truck that they woulnt fit. I have the 9.75" rear end and the 8.8 IFS in the front. I am also running 41" tires thats why i want to go to such a high gear. I just want to clear this up so I know what size gears i can run. thanks

I'm pretty sure they make 4.88s in both of those sizes. Just search www.4wheelparts.com for their gears and see.

Nice Otto457!

He has you all set OP.

The front gears need to be "Reverse Cut" or "Reverse Rotation" which the first two in his second link are.

Yukon is a better know and more respected brand from what I read on this forum. Whatever you pick will be fine I'm sure.
