how do you think halos would work in a retro?? especially from a bmw...lol
You can order halos to mount with them. Check out theretrofitsource.com they have tons of info I wouldn't try to use BMW components. Gt their full kit and its all guaranteed to work without tons of R&D

everything i've read and from past owners on a quick google search says stay away from projectors...that the light output on them is terrible...so maybe i'll wait until you complete yours and see how i like it....and hear your input...
More than anything i just wanted the cosmetic effect of the halo lol

How do these mount without cutting? Do you still have to take the headlight apart?

The lighting of a projector probably does suck using halogens, but if using HIDs they're the best option for brightest most uniform pattern with no glaring. I don't know how you would get halo's to mount inside a stock or L housing without a projector retrofit. If I wanted HIDs real badly I would do a projector retrofit and maybe halo's, they sell kits with halos on TRS

Yeah you still have to take apart the headlight, but the projector goes through the original bulb hole and tightens down.

You should really post up pictures when you do this, if it works well I know what I'll be doing once I get lightning heads

I'm going to do a full write up on the process, do I'll be sure to take a ton of good pics. I'm still saving up for it right now because I'm going to replace my bull bar and grille lights with an LED bar at the same time so it'll be full front end makeover

Warhammer, so those are basically projectors? I've looked at then a hundred times and have considered getting them because I know my HIDs can give better light, I obviously have them aimed down a bit so not to glare anyone..
