Default coil packs

98 f150 5.4
I just changed the coilpacks and the truck missfires even worst
Also found a roach inside 1 of the pack when I pulled them out Wtf
The entire pasenger side the packs look like they had rust pouder

I'd take the spark plugs out and blow some air into those cylinders. Might have some crap in them if you said you found a bug in one the coil packs.

2v 5.4 isn't too bad the 3v 5.4 are the b*****s

5.4 has COP's. No plug wires for the big v8. Some times they dont seat correctly.

What cops did you put in?? Also, I don't care how much you think you checked the connections.....check em again. If need be, disconnect them and reconnect them..make sure you hear the click of them engaging.

To many times have I seen people get fed up with it and take it to a shop and it turns out to be the connection.
