LEDs for corner lamps.
I am looking at possibly changing my corner lamps to LEDs. I know that there is something I need to keep them from blinking like a squirrel on crack. Has anyone done this and what all did you have to use? I would like to change out both front and rear bulbs for LEDs. Thanks in advance for any help.

You're on your own finding those resistors or whatever.

Superbright has resistors they sell. That is what I used and they worked great. My only recommendation is that you solder them in. The crimper they include is worthless

There are actually a couple other ways besides the resistors. The most difficult of the three would be to remove the old flasher relay, pop off the cover, and simply bypass the burn out indicator point on it. Plug it back in, no more flash. the other one is the more expensive one, but its by far the easiest. Buy a LED flasher relay. Pop out the old one, plug in the new one. Couldn't be more simple. This is the link for the flasher relay:

As i said earlier, more expensive, but easy as pie. And i went a little different of a route with my LED corners. I went with a complete LED corner, not the bulb. Here are a couple pics of mine at dusk with the running lights and the turn signal on.

I don't know if you'd be interested, but i've got another set of those LED corners from my truck. The white LEDs on the driver side started to go out, and they now either flash fast or don't work. Other than that they are fine. I think i ran them through one too many high pressure car washes... I've had these ones longer and they are still good... Maybe only once through a high pressure washer. Either way, if you think you can live with the flash, or think you can fix them, i'll sell you the set for $20. Don't have a use for them, and i dont want them to sit around.
