That's very true but I have a fuse because I have a converter box right between seat and consul. Converts to AC so I need a fuse.

Ok, my strips have no box, they're just wired up to the switch

Ok cool cool I just didn't know if you had somehow wired them to cut on everytime the door opens or anything

Also if you really wanted to wire them to your DRL's. I installed clearance lights and I wired them to DRL's but you may not want that since you may want them to turn on as u open door, also I would put a switch in somewhere, because when you drive long road trips you will want them off
