therefore more air pumped, more fuel buned= more power!

got mods, kn filters/intakes mufflers/exhaust pipes help but only about as much as you blowing on a firepit in your backyard helps build a bigger fire.
what really builds the fire up to a roar is MORE FIREWOOD and highwinds to blow on that fire or a mechanical fan blowing on that fire, like you might have seen a hundred years ago on a forge if any youngster here even know what that is, lol
if not heres a pic of that forge fan that will blow enough extra air onto a forge full of coals to melt iron.
not sure where to find these parts but im sure a google search will fix that. but internal mods like this are bound to be expensive unless you are knowledable enough to do your own labour
I agree. Trust me I have just learned from personal trial and error that either building the internals of your engine, or forced induction is the only way to get real power out of your truck. I had every single bolt on possible on my little 4.2 (basically the same gutless power of the 4.6) and until I supercharged it, it was an absolute dog even with all the bolt ons.

If you don't want it to turn into a project then throw on a nice sounding exhaust, so you can enjoy that V8 sound, and just drive the thing.

I was wandering around youtube and came across a video from the T.V. show Trucks! and they had a 2006 f150 with the EDGE EVO programmer with a nitrous kit...Anyone have any feed back if this is a good idea for a stock 5.4L? Many thanks for your replies...
