not a fan of chrome but I kinda like your truck with the chrome rims. Fits well with the bumpers. Gotta have some sort of a contrast.

but like he said. you can spend a ton of money on mods and stuff but if the truck rusts out there wont be a truck to buy mods for lol.

i just replaced my drivers rocker a few months ago. only cost me $200. i did everything myself. gotta do the passenger rocker now and this weekend ill be pullin the bed off the truck to weld new support beams on. whole bed is getting POR-15 underneath.
Rust scares me. The only rust ive found on my truck is right under the license plate on the bumper, its just surface rust hopefully I can steel wool it. As soon as spring hits im gonna give the truck a thorough look, probably take off all the trim and running boards and wash the hell out of it.

There are SOOOOOOO many trucks in Minnesota that are rusted out but have brand new rims, headlights, tint ect...not the look I want. Rust takes priority over any mods, except a supercharger.

Yeah I hear you on that one man. I HATE rust. I dont like in snow country but I do live right on the coast, and no mater what time of year you leave metal out unprotected it will rust over night it seems like. I have one tiny spot on my back bumper too.

I most definitely agree. Our county here in Michigan tends to put a ton of salt here and most of the time overdoes it. Only rust on my '03 that I've spotted on my truck is my rear bumper.

But as far as addons, you could take your molding off with a heat gun and some fishing line. That's coming this spring for me as soon as it gets warmer. Or you could do some painting in your interior, led swapping, things of that nature.
