Default Open differentials on FX4 REALLY??

Why would ford label an offroad package and have the diffs open.I get stuck on a big maple leaf.Suck bad!!!!

Should only have a limited slip in the rear. The clutches are probably worn out.

At least you get the residual heat in Minneapolis. Up 94 an hour or so, we don't get that. Was -17 coming into work this morning.

Granted it's flippin' cold either way.

Its a real fx4.3.55 open diff,no letter after the # on the tag in the door.
I checked the fork in the front diff and everything is ok.I even converted the front to manual pull 4 wheel.This thing will get stuck on a wet grapeleaf.

My axle is a 19.open 3.55.Are the 31 spline axles?Will a ls unit work out of a mustang or explorer?

I noticed I had a open when I did a burn out and only one wheel spun..
