Overhead storage shelf

There are a number of members here in previous threads that have this setup. Since this picture was taken, I swapped out the Cobra 41+ for a Cobra 29 ST-WX, AND, I got a mic cord extension, and ran it down the A-pillar, along with the power line to the fuse box. Mic clip is now below left panel vent (I don't have the 4x4 mode switch there) so no coiled cable hangs down! CB is mounted to the overhead console by drilling 2 holes for the mounting bracket, along with 2 nuts and bolts. If I want something to stay up there, I use binder clips, and clamp it onto the console. Nothing flies off, nor rattles, etc.
