Going with a ATI procharger. I have a friend who is finishing up his newest build with a whipple. Once the motor is in the truck and he has it tuned, I'll be buying his old P1sc setup.

I ended up running 2.5 inch pipe all the way back with a x-pipe and 4 inch tips.
The install wasn't too bad, more aggravating than anything else. The headers fit good, getting to some of the bolts on install is tight but not too bad. If you soak everything with PB Blaster or something like that the night before you should be able to get it done in a long day. Really depends on how much breaks. 4 of my studs broke off in the block lol.
Ive always wondered but how do you get them out when they break in the block?? I would love to instal LT headers but i have always been terrified of breaking a stud and not being able to get it out

You running a single pipe?

Im gonna be getting rid of all my cats, running OBX LTs 3 inch single pipe with Borla Xr1. Im afraid its gonna be too loud as well. Im gonna go ahead with it though... can always add another muffler later, or cats.

With OBX's it pointless to run 3" becuase everything is 2.5". I went with Pacesetter's this time around because they are 3".

Yes a single pipe, 3" piping off the collector and all the way back. If you're not going to use cats and with that XR-1, you will be very loud. I ordered a bigger muffler to tone it down just a little bit, plus I just really don't like having a bunch of mufflers under my truck. I guess I think weird but if I can't find 1 muffler to suit me, then I should probably not be messing with exhaust systems, I would put some cats back on my truck before I start throwing a buch of muffler on it.

A buddy of mine has a 2006 6.0L vortex max and has 3 damn muffler under his truck and I give hell about every time I see him. And the funny thing is he makes out like he can't find just 1 muffler to use.

You can either get a left-handed drill bit or get you a regular drill bit and drill the stud and take you're easy out and back it out very slowly. When I installed my LT's header 3 studs broke off, it's just a little time consuming but it can be done.

I had 9 break when i originally did mine. When the new stainless stud went in i used 316ss and a lot of copper based anti seize.
