Default Sway bar link pins

Gotta replace them on my truck got the new ones moogs. Any pointers on how to do them. 1997 f150 4.6 4x4

Both at the same time so you can move the sway bar to fit the new bolts in. It's a pretty easy task.

nothing tricky aside from getting the old links out/apart lol. those things can be a bitch.

better have a torch or cutting wheel on hand. when installing the new ones make sure you install them the proper way.

on stud: washer, bushing, stud through stabilizer bar, bushing, washer, sleeve, washer, bushing, stud through bottom control arm, bushing, washer.

word of caution when tightening, they only call for 16ft/lbs of torque. dont over tighten the nuts, youll end up pinching the bushings and replacing them again 2 months down the road.

If you have a large set of bolt cutters they work great to remove old rusted sway bar links.

Very easy fix. Mine had came apart on both sides and it still only took me ten minutes to get them changed out. Had to use vise grips on one end to get a hold of the busted part to loosen them from the bar.
