I've used several kits on numerous chips. The "bullseye" type usually fix up pretty well, but if there are star cracks, you'll almost always see some residual effects. The good thing is you'll typically stop the spread of either type. The kit I have now is by Rain-X. After the original tube of epoxy was used up, I bought more on eBay.

Here's a "Top Ten" list with a few options. Mine is their #1 pick. I've also used the #3 kit in the past with good results.

Thanks for the input. Mine is more of a giant pit than a bullseye or a star.

EDIT: I guess that is a bullseye. I'm gonna try the Permatex kit.

Not yet. Changed the trans fluid and oil in the Toyota. Cleaned the garage, then replaced a window motor in the 2011 Escape. Then took the Wife to dinner, but now I gotta get ready to go to Dizzneeland on Monday.

Brew, this is the stuff that smells like Patchouli to me.



Yesterday I also finally built my "cart" for my plasma cutter. This was the cart for my pressure washer in a previous life.

Never saw SG Max before. I gather it's extra strength and extra stink... but does it work any better?

It actually works pretty well. it doesn't smell that bad.... of course, I don't think the regular stuff stinks either.

I used the SG Max to clean the interior in my 89, and it did an amazing job.

Yep, the max must be their eye watering formulation....but I bet it works!
