You just have to expand your definition of barbecue. If it can be cooked indoors, it can be cooked outdoors. Fish, vegetables, poultry, desserts - all of it!

Oh I know, you're right and that's the best way to do it. Not a vegetable fan, that's a problem. I'll have to Smoothy those, there's an alternative medical person in the family with recipes coming out her ears. Have my own concoction of barbecue green beans, out of the garden. They are actually pretty good, green of yellow beans.

Probably not going to be perfect, hopefully perfect enough.

Through a mask on, picked up the 1 ton from the hospital...thought I took a better picture than that lol. Bringin her back home.

Going to try to marinate, just a marinate for chicken, and a make some taco meat w/Tabasco for luch. Something new/ sort of healthy, not a spinach fan though. Think I can hide that. Haven't really done any red meat yet. Since I got out anyway.

Brew: If you want to look at vegetarian recipes, and don't mind the humorous-to-some foul language, you might want to give this cookbook a try: Thug Kitchen: The Official Cookbook: Eat Like You Give a F*ck
There are actually a lot of good recipes. (I especially like the Roasted Beer and Lime Cauliflower Tacos with Cilantro Coleslaw)

I decided to clean out the garage.... and put up the wood Ron gave me from his shelves he took down. Holy crap, that wore me out. Didn't realize the garage was that dirty.

Whilst cleaning, I looked out upon this bad***** and pulled the phone right out.... I love the color combo.

Jbrew,
About 5 years ago I thought I was too fat. I couldn't keep up with anyone. I began to seriously wonder if I would be around for my grandkids big life stuff. So I began eating better. And exercise.
Hard to make that change at first. Junk food is just so easy and quick.
It took a while but between eating better and working out some (nothing huge), I became a better person. I am able to (mostly) keep up with my kids in their late teens and 20s.
Now I can hike up (east coast) mountains carrying around 35 lbs ruck.
I learned how to make healthy food tasty. I learned what spices to use in my food. I even carry a favorite hot sauce and spices in my trucks so I can make bland restaurant food better.

In 2018 I was at a daughters wedding.I had to get a new suit for it as my older ones didn't fit.
Afterwords I saw the pics and wondered who that fatass was in those pics.
I looked at that pic and one from my recruit training graduation and cried at how bad I had become.
I couldn't run, walking hurt, I got winded by anything more than walking.

It took 2 years of working before my garmin watch said I was as fit as my age.
Now it says I'm as fit as a 48 year old and I'll be 59 in a couple months.
I can run,I can hike, I can chase my grandkids. I am a better person and I know I'll never go back to those bad habits.

You can get through today, tomorrow, the month, the years , and be better every day.
My needs and yours may be different, but we both need to make personal changes to get better.
It's hard to change at first but they get easier.

My journey was worth it, I hope yours can be fulfilled. It will be worth it.

I was watching a Youtube video on my TV.
My kids keep setting it to autorun the next video for music.
A Scotty Kilmer ran about 2 minutes before I realized what it was and changed it.
I think I lost about 20 IQ points just listening to his drunk self.
I figured I would watch a FordTeckMakuloco video to see if that would replace the points.
Now I keep saying any inconvenience is a major defect and it happens to all of them. My ice cubes are cube shaped, that is a major defect of my freezer and it will happen to all freezers.

Then I had to get out of that rut so I watched a Sarah-n-Tuned and ..... I'll be in my rack for a bit.
