I'm glad I was paying attention or I could've had *big* problems with the Mustang:
For years this station's non-Ethanol fuel has been 91 octane. If I'd put this in, I could probably have said "Goodbye" to my motor. (It's got a Vortech supercharger running 10 PSI and is tuned for 91.)

It's the Phillips station in Divide. The Conoco just down the road still has 91. Weird, I've never seen any other octane that 91 on non-Ethanol. I'd use the 88 for my generator, though.

The tune is picky on quality octane ehh...

After about 350 in groceries, filled up at 2.28 a gal at Kroger the other day. Think there was a cap on that tho, like the first 10 or 15 gallons then reverts back to the reg price. It was still under 100 for filling that beast up...which is unusual. Pretty good deal, but you have to use those fuel points within 30 days.

Good to know. My station in COS is 87, which is fine for the truck, but the 80 needs 91 (also supercharged).
The timing and fuel curves were set on the dyno with 91 octane in the tank. If I run lower octane, the ECU doesn't know the difference, and detonation will ensue. Bad for a normally-aspirated engine, potentially catastrophic for a forced-induction one.

Hey a quick heads up.... We are having a National emergency test today.
****IMPORTANT WARNING: Even if your cell phone is on silent, it will go off with that very loud test warning. So, for those of you who may have secret/hidden cell phones for your own safety, please make sure you turn that cell phone OFF. Turning the phone off is the only way the alert will not come through, revealing the location of that phone.*****
If you know anyone in a domestic situation that could have a hidden phone reach out to them and let them know to turn it off.
