In short, they're known as Kennedy #520 Boxes....

7 Drawer machinist .....jewelers used them as well.

I have an old Kennedy toolbox; it has brown felt lined drawers.
I don't know how old it is, I bought it used from an older guy that was retiring in the early 90's.

Dang, the one I used in 1984 was brown lined! Spaced out on that... Despite green felt not feeling right for it when trying to picture it! Gittin' old too fast, too young... Sheesh!
